How do you treat His people?

Edan Alexander is free. And that is good news. Only the manner in which it is done is, to put it mildly, terrible. Edan looked bad and I wouldn't be surprised if he was given some extra food at the end of his captivity to make him look a little better. This has already been the case with previous innocent civilians, hostages, who were released. This time the ceremony will not be held in Gaza but in a different place, Qatar. And if you want to know what role Qatar plays in this whole story, I recommend you to watch this short update from Amir Tsarfati. Qatar, together with Iran and other countries, is a many-headed satanic monster that dreams of destroying Israel. Qatar is the Muslim Brotherhood, it is the same as hamas, not as a group but as a wealthy Gulf state. 

And it is Qatar where Edan and his family will need to attend a ceremony. Although I have read several messages which state that Edan will not go to Qatar because of his condition (isn’t that obvious!). Qatar is one of the heads of this serpent seeking the destruction of Israel. Watch a fragment in which Witkoff gives the phone to Edan's mother. A young man who had to survive in a dungeon for more than 580 days with no daylight and barely any food. Hostages were and are tortured in these dungeons. When you see what Hamas is doing to its own population, what more to the Jewish people? 

Pride comes before a fall

Every generation an opponent has risen against the Jewish people. Satan has always been able to find a new host and we now find it in many countries such as Russia, China, Turkey, Syria, Libya, Qatar, Oman, Algeria, Pakistan, North Korea, European countries and countries in South America such as Venezuela. Qatar appeases Trump by giving him a Boeing worth around $400 million. Trump does not refuse this. Trump is a proud man like so many world leaders. And he is being appeased by a terrorist regime. Qatar fuels Trump's pride just as Satan did to man by lying and saying: You will be like God. Mordecai refused to bow down to Haman and out of that hatred through pride the decision was made to exterminate the entire Jewish people (Esther 3:5-6). 

Many Arab countries are trying to influence Trump. Israel is regaining its position as a local superpower at the expense of Islam. Israel was seen as weak before October 7, but times have changed. Lebanon, Syria, Hezbollah, the Houthis, they now know who Israel is. And Hamas is on its last legs. That is unacceptable and that is why countries in the Middle East such as Qatar are making a desperate attempt to keep Hamas alive. Why fight the battle yourself when proxies can do the dirty work? It's true what Douglas Murray said: Israel has never been allowed to win a war. 

Pride is the first sin and every person is susceptible to it, including Donald Trump. How much he will concede at Israel's expense remains to be seen. Witkoff is misled by Iran in nuclear weapons negotiations. Rubio was rejected by Iran, they wanted to talk to Witkoff. Why? Because Witkoff is easier to play. The fact that Edan had to go to Qatar is a victory for Qatar and Iran is watching it with joy. 

Israel's adversaries have time, but God has eternity

The tactics of Israel's opponents, including Hamas, are the same. Attack, propose a ceasefire, and attack again in time. This is how you weaken your opponent. Lie and deceive, everything is permitted in the fight against the unbelievers. Iran has time, there will be a new president. Those nuclear weapons must be created and Iran will never give them up diplomatically. Only military intervention will be able to stop this. After Trump, there will be a new president and who knows, maybe it will be a Democrat. Israel's adversaries have time, but God has eternity. You can have as much time and patience as you want, but it remains temporary. But God is outside of time, He is eternal. And He searches the hearts of the children of men, He sees, how do they treat My people? 

Christians should know better

The fact that political unbelieving leaders allow themselves to be appeased and choose against Israel is bad for them and the countries they represent, but this can be explained for nonbelievers. Yes, even for the mob that calls death on Israel, it can be explained. They consciously or unconsciously serve another lord, the father of lies, the murderer of men from the beginning.

But this does not apply to Christians. They should know better. The Messiah has been revealed to us, we have received the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. And that is why I find it so pitiful when Christians turn against the Jewish people, in addition to the sadness that this brings. We exalt ourselves and do not see that we can be deceived and even bewitched by the same pride and father of lies. Even after the Second World War, there are Christians who have found an excuse. The Jewish people and Israel are two separate things. You are allowed to criticize Israel as a state. I think that is unwise and even dangerous. It starts somewhere, the lie, and after criticism comes hatred and that is the spell. Christians who are not vigilant fall because of this. 

The land of Israel belongs to God and He has given it to the Jews as an inheritance. Praying for the Palestinians and Israel is therefore dangerous. By that I mean the following: You equate Palestinians with Jews and that is not correct. You equate an evil generation with God's people. First of all, Palestinians do not exist. Palestine is not a country and its name represents the destruction of the State of Israel. Emperor Hadrian used this name in able to forget the Jewish connection to the Holy Land. The Arabs in Gaza and Judea and Samaria (the real name instead of West Bank) are polluting God's Land and desire the extermination of the Jews in and outside Israel. Their goal is the destruction of Jerusalem and that is why they support Hamas. Unfortunately, we are not told that by our media. To eradicate this evil, it is necessary to take away from Israel's opponents what they so desperately want, land. Not land for peace, but take land for peace. Israel proves to 2 million Arabs every day that Arabs can live under Israeli rule. No apartheid. Hamas and Abbas (Palestinian Authority) cannot prove it the other way around on a daily basis. Jews no longer live in Gaza. And doing business with Jews is strictly prohibited. Now that's apartheid. 

God's Council and Decrees stand

Politicians reconsider decisions, God's Council and Covenants hold firm, even with an unbelieving Israel. That doesn't change God's faithfulness. God's Will will be done with Israel and her adversaries. In Ezra 4 we read how Israel's opponents tried to convince King Ahasuerus with lies to stop the rebuilding of Jerusalem. In verses 4 and 5 we read how everything was done to intimidate and manipulate the people. And it seemed to work, as we read in verse 23 and 24. This attitude of heart now also exists among many Arab peoples towards Trump to stop Israel by force, defeat its opponents and eradicate Hamas. But in Ezra 5 we read that after years the rebuilding started again. God's Will was done, the House of God and Jerusalem were rebuilt to the reproach of God's adversaries. 

Now too, God's will will be done, He will achieve His purpose with Israel. And all opponents against Israel are no more. Israel's role is unfortunately underestimated. If their fullness means life from the dead (Romans 11:15), then that is what is going to happen. When Israel's fullness begins, it means that many people will come to life again, rise from the dead, live from the dead. They will have a resurrection body and a role in the Messianic kingdom of peace (Revelation 20:4). All this through the fullness of Israel as they look on Him whom they have pierced. 

Let us continue to pray for Israel. Their struggle is also our struggle. Let us not exalt ourselves above them. Edan is free and I pray and continue to hope that all the people will be truly free. They remain God's people because our God keeps His covenant. That is separate from His people, also in their unfaithfulness, so that it will appear that He has always been faithful to them. And He will give them justice. He will punish those who cast lots for his people, including Qatar. Trump too when he listens to the flattery of God's opponents. Then MAGA (Make America Great Again) is an empty shell. 

Prayer is our weapon in the battle that Joshua is waging again. They in the physical as standing in God's country and we in the spiritual because with enlightened eyes of heart we may see Him who redeemed us, Jesus, with His dear and precious blood. He the Lion of Judah does not forget his brothers, just as Joseph did not forget his brothers in the time of the Gentiles in Egypt. He, Jesus, will deliver Israel from all her troubles. Come quickly Lord Jesus.
