and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)—’ II Peter 2:7-8 NKJV
Lot's righteous soul was tormented. There is something wonderful in that, he was righteous. Apparently a soul can be righteous before God. We do not read how this works exactly, and what made his soul righteous. He was certainly not without sin, no man is, but he was righteous. Lot knew God and His statutes and laws, for if that had not been the case, he could not have been weary or afflicted. Lot was in the midst of an evil and evil generation, he was in Sodom (Genesis 13:13).
So are the Israeli hostages among horrible people. Also the bodies of the Jewish people. Four black coffins containing the bodies of Oded, the children of the Bibas family and a woman from gaza, not Shiri Bibas. The black coffins were displayed on a stage as a trophy depicting Netanyahu as a bloodthirsty vampire. The opposite is true. Gaza is a bloodthirsty place and the streets are filled with innocent blood. The coffins were equipped with locks where the supplied keys did not fit, of course deliberately. And the coffins had to be checked for explosives.
You saw people in gaza sitting on the rubble with a water pipe. Like they were going to a theater. Children stood looking expectantly, smiling faces everywhere, at four coffins. They didn't know that someone from their own population was lying in one of the coffins, but they wouldn't care either. I now understand this text from the II Peter more and more. I understand how Lot was tired, why don't people see the evil of hamas and the people in gaza? Because 80% chose Hamas, they want Hamas. Make no mistake, on October 7, some of the worst atrocities were not carried out by hamas, but by so-called “innocent civilians.” A group of terrorists has the children of the Bibas family strangled. And the world doesn't see it. In fact, people celebrate it. Or it will be toned down, after all, so many children have been killed in gaza by Israeli bombs?
The point is that this is not correct. There is no genocide in Gaza. And besides, every child that dies can be blamed on hamas. But hamas does not care about the lives of those who voted for them. Lot was not only weary, his soul was tormented. I can imagine that better than ever. I see how injustice fills our streets in the Netherlands and Europe more and more. People who support the hamas massacre are allowed by the court to simply come to the Netherlands. It's like inviting Goebbels to a conference. And if you can expect something from the Muslim community in the Netherlands, you can immediately kiss that thought goodbye.
We live in a country and in a world where good is bad and bad is good. Where the thinking is more like that of Sodom and Gomorrah, the thinking of the people as in the time of Noah. In gaza there are evil generations full of injustice. And no aid organization is going to solve that. The hatred runs so deep, anti-Semitism is everywhere in gaza and Judea and Samaria. Hostages describing the horrors they had to endure. Liri Albag said that young children are already cursing the Jews. Not because those children suffer, but because they hate Jews. They are not oppressed, neither were the men of Sodom. They chose unrighteousness. And the men of Sodom were wicked from young to old (Genesis 19:4).
We must love our enemies. But Abraham knew that the men of Sodom were wicked, God revealed that to him (Genesis 18:20-21). And what does Abraham do? Did he pray for his enemies? He prayed for the righteous, for surely God would not destroy them with the wicked? (Genesis 18:23) If we truly love these enemies then there is one solution. Pray for Israel and their struggle. Israel is a government and it uses the sword when necessary. gaza cannot continue to exist just like Judea and Samaria. These people should, as Trump has proposed, live somewhere else permanently. With those in the Middle East who stood up for these "Palestinians". A people that does not exist, just as the compassion of the Arab countries for these people does not exist. That's why no one wants them, they know better who they are than all those Westerners who take to the streets for the "Palestinians".
If you take them out of the land of Israel, you hurt them where it really hurts the most. Then there will be no more land to destroy. hamas is losing its right to exist and there is no hope of ever killing all Jews. Then we will see if the hatred and this devil's power can be broken and these enemies can become friends through the Lord Jesus. For only He truly sets free. Many Muslims have dreams and come to recognize the Truth. That is the only hope for these people. Mosab Hassan Yousef once came to realize that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and was baptized. The green prince, the son of hamas. Unfortunately he abandoned it, but fortunately his support for Israel is still there. And I hope and pray that he will return to Jesus.
The souls of the righteous become weary and afflicted. But as Lot was saved from the wrath of God, so I believe that they too, the wise virgins, will be saved from the wrath of God and the Lamb, the Lion of Judah. We see the signs that Jesus spoke about. Through all that terrible suffering we see God's Hand over His people. Just look at the buses that should have exploded at 9am this morning instead of 9pm last night. An attack similar to October 7 has been prevented. God hits his enemies with foolishness. God returns to Israel, Jesus will rebuild David's ruined hut. Our salvation is near, look up and wait for Him who will take us to Himself when His Father will say, It is time. Then the weary is over and the torment will be ended forever.
‘“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.’ Matthew 24:36-42 NKJV
